already aware that our daughter, Madison recently graduated from college.
Sorry for posting a million photos lately, but we are really proud of her
and I couldn't help myself :)
It seems like just yesterday that we were celebrating her high school graduation!
I'm so glad I started this blog 7 years ago and can look back on what I had
written about that day. Four years flew by so quickly!

Our friend Lori, from HeartStrings Photos, took some photos for us right before
graduation and I just love them.
Of course we had to celebrate Madison's accomplishments with a big party!
It has been raining here in Virginia for weeks, but thankfully the day of the
party the sun came out and it was a beautiful day.
When I began planning the party several weeks ago I knew I really wanted a lemonade/
sangria stand. I had pinned one last year on my Pinterest boards and my fabulous boss at
work said he wanted to make it for me!! I was super excited! He is the best!
I took most of the photos before the party got started so that I could greet guests
and mingle once they arrived.
We chose a lavender and gold theme for the party and I was really happy how everything
turned out.
The menu included pork bbq, grilled chicken, hot dogs, baked macaroni and cheese, baked
beans, cole slaw, green beans, individual strawberry spinach salad, chips and dip.
Dessert included strawberry punchbowl cake, banana pudding, mini cupcakes, fruit and
cookies and cream mini parfaits.
We had such a great time with family and friends.
Congratulations Madison!
We love you!!
