Madison's First Prom

This past weekend was Madison's first Prom and she looked beautiful if I do say so myself!

The theme of prom was "A Black Tie Affair". We began the day by picking up their flowers and then headed to the hairdresser to get her hair styled. Don't you just love all the curls!

Ryan's parent's hosted a cookout for a few other kids and their parents so we headed to their house around five. I made Paula Deen's Gooey Butter Cake (recipe found on her website). I also made my yummy recipe for Baked Ham & Cheese biscuits. I'll post the recipe later - you will love them! After the cookout, we walked to nearby Wildwood Park to take photo's. There were so many other kids there taking pictures too, so we got to see a lot of prom attire which was fun. After all the photo taking - they headed off to the dance and Bob and I went to my brother's 40th Birthday Party and then to my friend Sheena's birthday get together too. It was a busy, but fun night!
