Since I have been making a lot of sweets lately, I decided to try a new and healthy side dish for dinner. I have never made any recipes with Quinoa, but I have heard that it is very good for you and high in protein. When cooked quinoa has a light and fluffy texture with a slightly nutty flavor and is a wonderful alternative for rice or couscous. I found this recipe on the food network and decided it would be an easy recipe to try.
