To be honest, I love the fact that the cereal contains so much fiber, but I think the little squares have a weird after taste, maybe it's the artificial sweetener or flavoring - I'm not sure. Maybe it's just me. I did finish the entire box, but I doubt that I will ever purchase it at the store.
But, here's the great part for you.......you can enter my giveaway and if you win you can try it yourself and receive an awesome prize pack too!
The prize pack will include one box of Fiber One 80 Calories Cereal, 1 Sensor pedometer with USB connector to chart walking progress and one neoprene iPod/smartphone holder with armstrap.
To enter leave a comment on this post telling me if your current breakfast keeps you full until lunchtime (mandatory).
For additional entries you can do the follwing, but leave a separate comment for each telling me you did so. Contest ends Friday, August 19th. U.S. addresses only please.

ReplyDeleteI eat either 2 fried or 2 scrambled eggs and 2 pieces of whole wheat dry toast with a glass of 1% milk for breakfast. It definitely keeps me full until lunch time.

ReplyDeleteI have actually been eating this cereal lately. I mix 1/2 cup of F1 cereal with multigrain Cheerios topped with almond milk & have a piece of toast with reduced fat peanut butter & half a banana on top. So filling and healthful!
ReplyDeleteI am a school bus driver so I don't have time to sit and eat before I leave the house. I grab my breakfast to go which is usually a banana and 1/2 of a peanut butter sandwich (on whole wheat - got to have that fiber!!). I usually use about 1-1/2 TB of peanut butter which gives me some protein. This is around 6 am and when I get back home around 8:30 am, I will have a Activia yogurt. I usually am OK with hunger until about 11 am.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the review on cereal. I usually have one egg, and one egg white plus 1 oz any cheese and all the veggies you can add into a skillet toss for breakfast. It is the only breakfast I have found that can keep me full until lunch :) Thanks again. S
ReplyDeleteI usually eat 2 multigrain waffles with 1tbps peanut butter for breakfast. It used to keep me full, but I've upped my fitness routine and I'm finding a need a mid morning snack!

I don't have a specific breakfast that I eat regularly but I've found that most grain-based meals, such as pancakes, waffles and cereal, do not. If I want to stay full, I have to eat higher-protein meals. This product has a lot of fiber as well as a higher amount of protein than most cereals. So, I'd give it a try to see how well it helps me stay full. :)
ReplyDeleteHonestly, Fiber One is very good for you, and I personally love it. It seems to stick with me all day, and I don't get that 10:30 AM hungry feeling. Love it. Thanks for the review!
