DIY Whipped Grapefruit Sugar Scrub
Remember last year when I made my own coconut lime sugar scrub?
Well I have been hooked ever since.
I usually have most of the ingredients I need on hand and it's so easy to make
your own, so why not?
This whipped grapefruit scrub comes together even faster by using my pink mixer!
I love the way my skin feels after I use sugar scrubs, so soft and smooth!
I keep a container of it in the shower and use it every couple of days.
Now is a great time to make your own sugar scrub and get those feet in shape for flip flop
and sandal season!
Give it a try and let me know what you think.
Whipped Grapefruit Sugar Scrub
1/2 C coconut oil
1 1/4 C white or raw sugar
zest of one grapefruit
2 T fresh grapefruit juice
20 - 25 drops of grapefruit essential oil
Place solid coconut oil and sugar in the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment.
Mix on low until a thick paste is formed. Add grapefruit zest, grapefruit juice and grapefruit oil and continue mixing until combined. Increase speed for 15 - 20 seconds until mixture is fluffy.
Store in air-tight glass jars.
