A day for cleaning and yard work, a day just for fun and
a day to lay around and do nothing but read or watch movies.

My mornings always begin with a cup of hot breakfast tea.
It's warm, cozy and helps me ease into the day.

I was recently given the opportunity to try the Hamilton Beach Flex Brew
Coffee Maker and so far I love it.  You can brew a whole pot of coffee or
just a single cup.  The single serve side is compatible with K-Cups or ground
coffee.  I can use Breakfast tea K-Cups, or if I'm in the mood for a chai tea latte
I can have that instead.  When I have company over I can brew an entire pot
of coffee.  I love the versatility of this machine!

The Single Serve side can brew up to a 14 oz. size travel mug for coffee or
tea on the go.  The carafe size brews up to 12 cups.  It's also programmable with a
two hour automatic shut-off safety feature.  I love that it is basically two coffee
makers in one and saves on counter space!
The Hamilton Beach Flex Brew is available at Walmart and many other retailers.
I'm a huge fan of Hamilton Beach and have found that they really stand behind
their products.

Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Muffins





















My peanut butter chocolate chip oat muffins are delicious and healthy too.
They're lightly sweetened with maple syrup and dark chocolate chips.
Perfect with a cup of hot tea!

Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Muffins





















Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Oat Muffins

2 small-medium ripe bananas, mashed
1/2 C unsweetened almond milk
1/4 C smooth peanut butter
3 T pure maple syrup
1 egg
1 1/2 C rolled oats
1/4 C dark chocolate chips
1/2 T baking powder
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Prepare muffin tins by spraying with cooking spray (I like coconut oil spray)
In a mixing bowl, mash bananas.  Add remaining ingredients and stir until
combined.  Using a large cookie scoop, fill prepared muffins tins.
Bake for about 20 minutes or until golden and set.
Makes 8 muffins.
