I can't believe I have made four different types of cupcakes in the past six days.
It seems like I was on a long cupcake making break and it felt good cover my counter top
with cupcake liners and sprinkles again.

who won since the Steelers weren't playing, but it was a great excuse to make mini cupcakes!
Earlier this week I made mini paint chip heart Valentine's Day cupcakes. They turned out so
sweet. You can see them here. And last night I made Minecraft cupcakes for a friend, but
I forgot to take photos! Today I decided to make some cute little hearts with Wilton Candy
Melts. I had so much fun making them I added a few X's and O's too.
These cupcake toppers are so easy to make! I just melted a few candy melts in the
microwave, poured them into a Ziploc sandwich bag and cut a small hole in one of the corners.
Then I piped the hearts onto wax paper. I let them sit for about 30 minutes before peeling
them off the wax paper and placing them on the cupcakes. They are fragile, so be careful!
For the cupcakes I simply doctored up a box mix of Devil's Food cake and topped them
vanilla buttercream and sprinkles. You can find my favorite buttercream recipe here.
I hope your Valentine's Day is full of love and chocolate!
Enjoy!
These are sooo cute. My boyfriend gives me cupcakes on V day but they don't look as cute as these. :D
