All thoughts and opinions are my own.
visit during the holidays. I have games planned, movies picked out and I'm in the process
of making the house all warm and cozy with twinkling lights and candles. Family time is
so important and I love spending time with mine.
Today I'm sharing tips on how to make your home cozy and welcoming for holiday guests.
I find that I can relax and enjoy the holidays more if I plan ahead and get as many things
done as I can early in the season.
1. Keep a nice selection of snacks and beverages on hand for unexpected guests.
I purchase large quantities of bottled water, soda and tea from Sam's Club. Use Club
Pickup to make shopping even easier. Have crackers, nuts, fruit and cheese on hand to
make quick and easy cheese platters.
2. Buy grocery/warehouse store flowers and arrange them into several small bouquets
to place throughout the house. Don't forget the guest room!
3. Fill a small basket with bottled water, fresh fruit and snacks for overnight guests.
Leave it on the nightstand for them to enjoy at their leisure.
4. Let guests know your wifi password with a cute sign welcoming them to your home.
5. Have cozy blankets available in the family room and guest rooms. They are especially
nice when watching holiday movies together! Cozy!
6. Keep a bar cart fully stocked with mixers, festive straws, jingle bell stir sticks and
garnishes for beverages. We love Cranberry Spritzers - it's our favorite non-alcoholic
drink, especially during the holidays. It's so pretty and tastes delicious and refreshing.
I love the mini cans of Sprite® available at Sam's Club. They are just the right size for one.
