Isn't this bottle brush tree snow globe ornament the cutest!
Last week while browsing around Michael's I noticed these clear, open front plastic
ornaments and thought they would be a fun craft to make with Madison. Her fiancé
was out of town for the weekend so she came over to stay with us and it was so nice
to have her back home.
Neither one of us are very crafty, but the Christmas ornament was super easy and we
had fun making them while enjoying a glass or two of wine :)
I found most of the bottle brush trees and deer at Michael's. I think I bought the dark
green trees last year.
To make DIY Snow Globe Christmas ornaments, brush Modge Podge where you
would like the snow to stick. I used a foam brush and painted the Modge Podge all
over the inside of the one I made. While the glue is still wet, sprinkle craft snow inside
the ornament and shake it around to cover, placing extra at the bottom. Modge Podge
dries clear, so you won't be able to see it after a few hours.
Using a glue gun, immediately glue the bottle brush trees and deer inside the ornament
on top of the snow. You may need to hold them a few seconds to get them to stick to
the snow. Once the Modge Podge and glue dries they will be more sturdy.
Hang them on your tree and sit back at enjoy all the cuteness!
