Happy Monday! How was your weekend?
Mine was super busy once again. Our house is still a mess from the process of removing
carpet and installing hardwood floors and I've been doing a lot of painting. We decided
to hire a professional to finish things up and hopefully that will happen this week. I will
be so glad to get our house back in order!
On Sunday Madison and I went to a bridal/wedding yard sale and we picked up some
super cute things for her wedding this summer. I can't believe it's less than 6 months away!!
After working pretty much all weekend and then going back to the office today, the last
thing I want to do on Monday evening is cook a big meal. I was recently given the opportunity
to try Alpha Burritos and discovered that they make for a delicious quick and easy meatless
Monday dinner for my husband and I.
Alpha Burritos are plant-based meals that are perfect for those of us trying to reduce meat
and dairy consumption without sacrificing on taste. Alpha Burritos are 100% plant based
with melty non-dairy cheese and a meat-like texture. They're packed full of 11 grams of
protein, but are free of GMO's, cholesterol, hormones, artificial preservatives and all
animal products.
I don't normally buy a lot of ready-made frozen food, but I thought these burritos were
really good. You can cook them in the microwave, but I prefer to bake them in the oven
and then finish them off in a panini press to make those pretty grill marks. I'll probably
stash a few in the freezer at the office for a quick and healthy lunch at work.
Alpha Burritos are available in four delicious, plant-based flavors: Mexicali, Fajita
Chick'n, Philly Sandwich and Pizza. So far pizza is my favorite!
Alpha Burritos typically retail between $2.99 and $3.99. I found them at Martin's and
Walmart, but you can check the store locator to find them at a retailer near you.
I'm offering a giveaway for 4 FREE Alpha Burritos product voucher over on my Instagram.
Pop on over and enter today so that you can give them a try too!
Enjoy!
